World of Plastics and Polymers at the Plastex Uzbekistan 2023 Exhibition
The 13th Plastex Uzbekistan 2023 International Exhibition for Plastics Industry will be held on October 4–6, 2023 at the Uzexpocentre NEC, in Pavilions 3, 4, and Atrium Hall 2.
The event is organised by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company and its partner ICA Eurasia Group.
Uzbekistan is an example of significant development across all sectors of the economy, including industry, agriculture, and services. Rapid industrial growth requires a steady supply of high-quality raw materials. Plastics and polymers remain essential components in this process, playing a crucial role in various industries. These materials form the foundation for the production of a wide range of products, from packaging to automotive and electrical components.
A dedicated exhibition on plastics and polymers becomes a key industry event, offering a unique platform for experience sharing, signing new contracts, and strengthening business relationships. Such interactions foster technological collaboration, international partnerships, and a favourable investment climate, ultimately accelerating industrial and economic development.
Plastex Uzbekistan 2023 is the leading exhibition in the field of plastics and polymers in Uzbekistan. It holds great importance not only for Uzbekistan's fast-growing economy but also for neighbouring countries. The event consistently attracts both plastics industry professionals and specialists from related fields.
The exhibition will showcase modern equipment, advanced production and processing technologies, research and development achievements, and the latest market trends. The entire technological chain for plastics — from raw materials and machinery to finished materials and products — will be presented.
This year, more than 200 companies from 8 countries are confirmed to participate: India, Iran, Italy, China (PRC), Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan. This is a record-breaking participation, doubling previous editions.
Visitors will find collective stands from the Moscow and Yaroslavl regions of the Russian Federation featuring thermoplastic injection moulding machines for preforms, packaging solutions, polymers, additives for road construction, plastic pipes, granules for plastic products, and more.
Special attention goes to the wide representation of Chinese companies (168 exhibitors), whose stands will feature a diverse range of machinery: plastic injection moulding machines, pulp and paper processing equipment, thermoforming systems, laser marking machines, toilet paper and napkin production and packaging lines, raw materials for the paper industry, embossing foil, polyethylene, and more.
Iranian companies will showcase disinfectants, denatured ethyl alcohol, surface cleaners, yellow soap, cologne, textile chemicals, masterbatches, raw materials, polymers, and petrochemicals.
Domestic companies will present a variety of products and materials including injection moulding machines, raw materials, adhesives, chemical and petrochemical inputs, fertilizers, polymer seals, hoses, fireproof tape, thermoplastic elastomers for automotive parts, medical items, consumer goods, and children's toys.
The exhibition’s specialised section – O‘ZBEKinPRINT & PAPER 2023, dedicated to Packaging and Paper: Equipment and Materials – will be held in Pavilion 4. It will feature the latest innovations in the packaging industry, including pulp and paper equipment, blow moulding machines, raw materials for the paper sector, cutting machines, packaging and printing machines, multi-layer corrugated cardboard production lines, offset inks, and more.
A key feature of Plastex Uzbekistan is the live demonstration of equipment. Professional visitors will be able to examine machines in operation and receive expert consultations directly at the exhibitors’ stands.
