Launch of modernized ammonia and urea production at Navoiyazot is scheduled for 2020

A new complex for the production of mineral fertilizers is being built in Uzbekistan with the introduction of modern energy-saving technologies.

The modern complex is being built as part of the President’s decree on measures to implement the investment project “Construction of the production of ammonia and urea at Navoiyazot” from 21 July 2015.

The launch of the modernized production of ammonia and urea at Navoiyazot is scheduled for 2020. Enter Engineering Ltd is engaged in the construction of the facility, today it is one of the leading companies specializing in the construction of industrial facilities in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The construction of a modern complex for the production of mineral fertilizers with the introduction of modern energy-saving technologies will not only contribute to providing the domestic market with demanded products, but will also significantly increase the export potential of the industry and the republic as a whole.

With the commissioning of the complex, the production of ammonia and ammonium nitrate will almost double. At the same time, the consumption of heat and energy resources will be reduced significantly. Innovative technologies meet modern world standards and are aimed at reducing the level of harmful emissions into the environment.

At the same time, the creation of a new production will make it possible to provide work for about five hundred people, mainly the local population. This will be a positive impetus in the development of the region of Navoi region.

Commissioning of the facility will allow to receive 660,000 tonnes of ammonia and 577,500 tonnes of urea per year, to expand the range of mineral fertilizers produced on their basis. To implement the project, a contract was signed with a consortium of Japanese companies Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation on a turnkey basis.
