Plastex Uzbekistan 2026

The 16th International Exhibition on the Plastics and Polymers Industry – Plastex Uzbekistan 2026 took place from 22 to 24 September at Uzexpocentre NEC, once again confirming its position as Uzbekistan’s largest and only specialised event for plastics and polymers industry professionals.

Organisers: Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group.

Over the years Plastex Uzbekistan has grown into a major driver of modernisation in the region’s polymer industry. The equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers and processors meet face to face without intermediaries to make real deals.

Covering 8,510 sq metres, the exhibition brought together 255 companies from 13 countries, including Austria, China, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkiye, the UAE, and Uzbekistan.

The show’s sponsor line-up reflected its international standing: Gold Sponsor – Sedir & Yizumi, the exclusive Central Asian distributor of Yizumi, a leading global manufacturer of injection moulding machines, and Silver Sponsors – Alvina L Chemical and Haitian. Chinese companies made up a significant part of the exhibition.

The exhibition welcomed 4,354 unique trade visitors over three days, recording 5,878 visits in total. More than a quarter came back during the event to continue their negotiations, meet new participants and visitors, and take a closer look at the presented solutions. The repeat attendance proves that the exhibition has become a place to do business and build relationships, rather than a one-off visit for industry professionals.

PetroChina International, one of China’s largest oil and gas groups, sent to the exhibition a large team of their experts. A delegation from Poland also visited the event, led by the Polish-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to the Chamber’s President, Mr. Grzegorz Michalak, “The exhibition is a good way to build ties between Polish and Uzbek companies.”

Exhibits spanned the full production chain from injection moulding and extrusion equipment to blow moulding machines, polymer raw materials, compounds and packaging solutions within a dedicated 4P Central Asia – Polymers, Plastics, Packaging, Processing Section.

The exhibition delivered on its main goal – the tangible business results. This has been confirmed by a participant survey, as follows:

  • 84% of participants assessed the exhibition positively;
  • 81% made new customer and business contacts, while 82% met existing partners;
  • 95% would recommend the exhibition to colleagues and partners;
  • 93% are considering or have already confirmed their participation in Plastex Uzbekistan next year.

Almost half of participants (46%) arrived there for the first time, proving the growing interest to the platform from new market players. The remaining 54% had taken part for at least two years, reflecting the industry’s enduring commitment.

Today, Plastex Uzbekistan does more than showcase technology. It brings businesses together, helps them find partners and opens doors to new markets. The feedback of some participants describes what the show has delivered.

Farbenwerke, Thomas Küspert, Technical Sales Manager (Germany):

“This is our third time at Plastex Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is a fast-growing market, and we have been doing business here for over a decade. The show helps us meet new customers from Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries while strengthening existing relationships.”

PPP Petro Polyplast, Ali Angaji, CEO (Iran):

“This is our second time at Plastex Uzbekistan, and the results have been excellent. We met with longstanding customers and potential new partners. Uzbekistan is a vital market for us, with a rapidly growing plastics industry. The show helps us win new customers and strengthen existing relationships. Given this year’s results, we are certainly considering coming back in 2027.”

Termokar, İsmail Özdiken, Owner (Turkiye):

“We’re delighted we decided to exhibit at Plastex Uzbekistan. We’ve met new people and potential partners, and the results have already exceeded our expectations. We export widely to Europe and now want to enter the markets of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, introduce our products there and find new partners. Our participation here has been an important step towards that goal.”

Shanghai Airayshape, Huanfeng Yu, Manager (China):

“The exhibition has been very well organised. This is our first visit, and it has given us a chance to promote our equipment in Uzbekistan and reach customers across Central Asia and Russia. Our local team will follow up with visitors and meet potential customers after the event. We even sold one of the machines on display to Zelomax Plastic.”

The exhibition was organised under official support from Uzkimyosanoat JSC, the Committee on Entrepreneurship, Competition Development, and Industry of the Legislative Chamber under the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Tashkent City Mayor Office.

Beyond the exhibition pavilions, the posts about Plastex Uzbekistan 2026 drew more than 1.8 million views across social media.

Plastex Uzbekistan 2026 proved it is more than an exhibition: it drives the business growth by securing deals and helping shape the industry’s technological future. For companies seeking a foothold in Central Asia’s fast-growing polymer market, Plastex Uzbekistan 2027 is a chance to meet industry players face to face and take the lead in modernisation before competitors do.

Registration for participation in Plastex Uzbekistan 2027 is now open. The exhibition will take place from 21 to 23 September. Early booking gives companies a wider choice of exhibition space and stand locations.
