Uzbekistan to Mandate Recycling of Some Products
Uzbekistan has developed a list of goods subject to mandatory recycling, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology reports.
The list contains code numbers and symbols for plastics, paper, metals, glass, composite materials, batteries and accumulators, as well as construction waste.
It is noted that waste recycling allows for the efficient use of secondary raw materials, which also helps prevent environmental pollution. The list can be found at the link.
It was previously reported that Uzbekistan plans to generate thermal energy from medical waste. The project is being implemented within the framework of an investment agreement.
